BAE Systems is the premier global defence and aerospace company delivering a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, information technology solutions and customer support services. With 106,000 highly skilled people, and customers in over 100 countries, BAE Systems sales exceed £18.5 billion.
In the exciting arena of international defence, BAE Systems offers a wealth of opportunities for both graduates and undergraduates.
BAE Systems has three graduate entry programmes; GDF is the main programme, FLDP for those looking for a finance leadership career and Sigma for fast track international leadership.
Most graduates will join the Graduate Development Framework (GDF), which is a two-year scheme. Successful applicants will receive on-the-job training from some of the most talented people in their industry. They will work on real projects offering real responsibility.
Line managers work closely with graduates to develop and track an ongoing plan for personal development. Graduates may well receive opportunities for secondments to different sites and projects, to give them greater exposure to the business in line with development objectives. When it's appropriate, BAE Systems will also give successful applicants all the resources and support they need to achieve relevant professional qualifications.
