Approximately 95 training contracts are available per year for trainee solicitors. Slaughter and May also offers work experience schemes at Christmas, Easter and during the summer for those considering a career in law.
Following Law School, there is a two year training period during which time trainee solicitors gain experience of a broad cross-section of the firm's practice by taking an active part in the work of four or five groups, sharing an office with a partner or experienced associate.
