Transport for London Transport for London (TfL) has a huge part to play in making London what it is. The Tube, the trains, the buses, the river, the roads, the trams, the DLR, the taxis, the cycle lanes — TfL is responsible for virtually every mode of transport in the city.

The graduates that join TfL will enjoy just as much impact on the Capital. They could explore engineering or finance; procurement or management; transport planning or project management; quantity surveying or IM.

They might find themselves running an entire Underground station; examining how London's transport infrastructure fits together; or putting a project into place that could radically change how people travel across the city. TfL certainly doesn't shy away from giving their graduates heavy responsibility, very early on.

In fact, there's a great deal graduates could be influencing. Right now, TfL is in the midst of one of the greatest periods of investment in its history. Low–carbon taxis are being introduced. Buses are being redesigned. A cycling revolution is underway. The Tube is being comprehensively upgraded. New railways are being created. Plus, of course, the 2012 Games are on their way.

Whichever opportunity graduates choose, and whatever they turn their talent to, they can expect support, training and responsibility worthy of one of London's largest employers. These are unique opportunities for people with the flair, potential and personality to make a vital contribution to one of the world's greatest cities.
